Some of the Vendors who will be available at the Morning Star Market on 10 March 2019 include:


Please come and visit 2nd Avenue (by the pool) at Morningstar Market.

A wide range of second hand goods will be available ranging from clothes (children and adults), loads of bric-a-brac, baby items, books, CD’s, even some furniture.


What is a market without KOEKSISTERS – and with the delicious Koeksisters from Denise we will probably have the BEST IN CAPE TOWN!


The Morningstar Market is being held in a community of smallholdings, so some typical farm produce is a must! Our impressive list includes:

* Beetroot Salad, Olives, Pesto and Onion Marmalade from Olsh Farmstead
* Cheeky Chilli from Caron
* Fresh Veg from Veronica
* Pickles from Nan’s Kitchen
* 100% Raw Honey from Cuppa Fynbos


Elise Gunter makes the most incredible range of cards – which she will be selling in the hall at the Morningstar Market.

Prices range from R10, R15, R20, R25, R30 depending on size and style of the cards.

Gift packs are also available, ranging from R40, R85 and R110.


Grace Animal Sanctuary is a leading animal rescue organisation, with a mission to stop animal abuse in all it’s forms. Through rehabilitation and education, they strive to transform the way people care for pets so that humans and animals live in harmony.

They will be at the Morningstar Market on the 10 March – you’ll find them under the trees, next to The Canine Club.


Daphne Ferreira enjoys making mixed media art pieces and makes a variety of fruit + veggie bags (ideal in our reuse/recycle society) as well. She’ll be selling these wares at the Morningstar Market.

During the course of the morning, Daphne will be sharing her reasons for making and selling the veggie bags, with us.


Namaste Horses is a family farm in Morningstar and they, together with the help of their horses, reach out to people in need of healing.

They will be offering pony rides at the Morningstar Market, and as they are very active in the rescue community, you may just find some cute rescue farm animals at the market as well!
Telana will be selling children-related-goodies to help raise funds for her rescue efforts.



The Canine Club are a Cape Town based canine products and service provider specialising in dog walking, pet sitting (pop-ins and overnight stays) as well as dog behavioural training. They recently launched the DogMom Box; gift boxes filled with treats for dogs and cats and their moms and dads!

Big supporters of Pit Pals, The Canine Club will be at the Morningstar Market and will also be conducting a dog training demonstration during the morning.


Denimals is a new-comer to the Morningstar Markets and we are very pleased to have them onboard! They make the most adorable items using recycled denim and a whole bunch of love.


Little Brinks started in 2008 when they saw the need for someone to step in and help the lives of hungry, hurt and neglected children.

With a strong belief that each and every child deserves to have a meal and be loved, they raise funds via monthly pledges, ad hoc donations and various other fund-raising efforts.

They will be selling 2nd-hand clothes at the Morningstar Market – you’ll find them near the pool and as they always have a fabulous selection of clothing, you may just want to pop past their stall.


The Nutty Knitters are a team of over 80 inspiring knitters, who knit from their homes and retirement villages to provide a variety of garments to the underprivileged.

They are always on the lookout for donations of wool, so please feel free to bring donations with you when you visit the Morningstar Market.

The Nutty Knitters will be found in the hall.


Regulars to Melkbosstrand will know Big B Boereworsrolle, as they often trade at the intersection near the Police Station.

Not only does Big B sell the most delicious boerewors rolls, but he can refill your car’s aircon gas while you eat!
Big B will be joining us at the Morningstar Market on the 10 March.


Chrisna’s rusks are a rusk lover’s delight. Delicious and flavourful they are ideal with your morning coffee or a late night cup of tea, and pretty much any time in between.

Prices range from R40 – R50 per packet and are available in the following amazing flavours:

Cranberry & Almond

Visitors to the market will find this Rusk Stall in the hall.


Kind Products are safe and eco-friendly products for the entire family. They kind to the planet and kind to the body and they will be on sale at the Morningstar Market

Their vision is “to change the planet through kindness, to kindness,” and they challenge everyone to feel the joy of doing random acts of kindness as often as possible.


Joanne Keet makes the most gorgeous pewter items and being a horse-rider herself, you’ll be sure to find beautiful horse-themed items in the mix. You’ll find Joanne’s eclectic items in the hall at the Morningstar Market


Ultimate Canine Nutrition is a premium food, equivalent to most science diets, and is available at a much more affordable price. It is free from wheat and maize and is suitable for young and old, lazy and very active dogs.

Sam van Niekerk, who sells the dog food, also sells Prestige cooling towels AND she makes her very own biltong. Her stall, at the Morningstar Market, will definitely be worth a visit!



Always a big attraction, Tupperware will be represented at our Morningstar Market again this year and there’s an opportunity to pre-order goodies from this month’s specials.
