The Buck Stops Here

Cuppa Daisies assists people, who are clearing out their homes and garages, by selling their small items on their behalf.

What we do and do not sell:

  • We sell all household goods e.g., kitchenware, bathroom accessories, linen, curtains, towels, cases, bags, etc.
    • These items are sold to community workers, at a low price, enabling the workers to buy items they might not otherwise have.
    • THIS IS AT THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO AND OUR CORE BUSINESS. 😊
  • We sell clothing, also for low prices:
    • Children’s clothing:  R5 per item (before commission)
    • Adult’s clothing: R10 per item (before commission)
    • Jackets and shoes may attract a bit more, depending on the condition.
  • Vintage items are sold for the above-mentioned prices; we do not specialise in vintage clothing, ornaments or any other vintage items.
  • We do not collect, store, sell or source furniture or large appliances.
  • We do not sell broken, chipped or stained items but can take these items off your hands for donating to the right cause or to ensure safe recycling.

Process:

  • We collect your goods and store them safely on our small holding in Morningstar (N7).
  • Items that are not sold to the community workers but that we believe have value and are interesting, are posted on Facebook (Table View Auctions and Marketplace).
  • After the first week / 10 days, clients will receive feedback on sales and decisions are then made about items not sold e.g., donate or return to the client.

Costs and Payments:

  • Items that are already sorted and clean (dusty is fine):
    • 30% commission
    • All advertising, delivery, collection costs are for our account
